Students of M.Sc. Botany  (Semester II) of  Khalsa College Amrtisar bagged first three top positions in Guru Nanak Dev University Examinations held in May, 2011. Navdeep Kaur stood first by securing 734 marks out of 900 with 81.5%.   It is worth mentioning that she worked very hard and with the blessings of Almighty God became the  first position holder of M.Sc, Botany in the University. Megha Jain  and Harpreet Kaur secured second and third positions respectively by securing 80.1% and 80 % marks. Principal Dr. Daljit Singh congratulated the students and teachers on this occasion and encouraged them. The Head of Department Dr. Mrs. Manjeet Kaur Bhangu and members of the faculty of Botany Dr. Paramjit Kaur, Dr. Harbhajan Singh, Prof. Kirandeep Kaur and Dr. Parveen Kumar Ahuja also congratulated the students. The students attributed their success to the academic atmosphere and hard work put in by the teachers under the able guidance of Principal Daljit Singh.
