A free medical camp was organized by Physiotherapy Department and Red cross Society of Khalsa College, Amritsar at Chawinda Devi Village.  Dr. Daljit Singh, Principal, Khalsa College, inaugurated the camp. Major Shibi presided over the function. Under the guidance of Dr.Charanjit Singh, Head, Physiotherapy and the teaching faculty, various lectures for the awareness of the villagers on current topics of significance like Drug Abuse and Education Promotion were delivered. Free medical check up, Bone mineral density testing (BMD), and treatment by exercises, manual therapy and various physiotherapeutic modalities like TENS, IFT, US, LASER etc. , homeopathic treatment, psychological counseling and distribution of drugs was also done  free of cost to all the patients.
