The students of department of Zoology, Khalsa College Amritsar, brought their alma mater pride  by securing first two positions in M.Sc. Zoology  Ist Semester examination of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Ms. Neelam stood first by securing 304 marks and Ms. Anju stood second with 302 marks. Overall Khalsa College  Amritsar secured five positions among top six.

            Principal Dr. Daljit Singh congratulated the toppers on their achievement and encouraged them to keep up their good performance in the next semesters also. He emphasised that hard work and dedication alone is the key to success. He also appreciated the efforts put in by the faculty of the department.  Prof. G.S. Sappal, Head of the Department also congratulated the students and thanked Principal Sir for providing congenial atmosphere and cooperation.

            Both Neelam and Anju were thrilled by their achievement and attributed their success to the hard work  and motivation of their  teachers. Both exclaimed "We are proud to be students of Khalsa College Amritsar".
