This has been possible only because we move ahead with the realization that the present age urgently requires instilling greater professionalism in all aspects of education. The new millennium brings global competition in the field of education also. Keeping in view the trade of the time of trans-continental exchange of concepts and methodologies in the recent years, we have been trying to accord importance to hi-tech teaching methodologies and to orient our energies, resources and infrastructural facilities to introduce courses which are the need of the hour. This will build a positive attitude and equip them to respond to complex challenges of the extremely competitive age. We realise the need to provide both academic rigour and practical application to student learning.

I wish to announce the much awaited news that from the current session the Arts stream will be open to girls also. This will give a boost to girl education and also give them an opportunity to earn degree in Bachelor of Arts from this prestigious institution. Several new subjects like Fine Arts, Music (Vocal) and Human Genetics will be a part of the course structure from this session.

Remember what you are doing now, you are doing for tomorrow. You are building a portfolio of knowledge and skills pertinent to your vision of your own future in the world.
