A Seminar was organized  by Post Graduate Department of Physics. Dr. Sarbjit Singh the renowned scientist from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, talked about Radioactivity, Nuclear Decay  and Radioactivity in and around us. According to him daily used items have certain amount of radioactivity. Granite have the maximum radioactivity. Radioactive nuclides are used by Biologists, Chemists, Diagnosticians, Engineers, Geologists, Physicists and Physicians.

            Dr. Daljeet Singh, Principal, Khalsa College welcomed the guest and participants and congratulated the Head of Physics Department for arranging such useful and informative lecture.
