The college lays great emphasis on N.C.C. training, as it makes the youth discipline
and patriotic. The youngsters imbibe qualities of self-reliance, leadership and determination.
The college cadets have always excelled in all NCC Activities. The N.C.C. Air Wing
of the college has to its credit remarkable achievements during the session 2009-10.
Flying Officers (Prof.) Rakesh Kumar represented as "Contingent Commander" of Punjab,
Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh Directorate in All India Vayu Sainik Camp,
held at Banglore from 26th Oct. to 6th Nov., 2009. Cadet Sukhbir Kaur was the only
Cadet selected from Punjab for para jumping. She jumped from a height of5,000 ft.
from An-32 aircraft. Sr. Cadet Gurbhej Singh was declared the best cadet in ATC Camp
at Dhariwal in 2009. Cdt. Raman Kumar was best cadet at ATC at Goindwal. Cadets of
our college donated blood at a camp in Tarn Taran. Cdt. Maninder Singh represented
Khalsa College in AIVSC at Bangalore in 0.22 firing team while 8 cadets participated
in PVSC camp at Hissar in Sept. 2009. 30 cadets participated in Air Experience Activity
in Micro-light flying.
