The coaching classes for PCS and UGC-NET examinations today kick started at Khalsa College’s UGC and Competitive Examination Coaching Centre here with resource person Dr. Gurupdesh Singh from English department, Guru Nanak Dev University sharing important tips with the aspirants at the inaugural class. He asked the students to have a spirit of competition and stressed on the importance of logic and aptitude.
Earlier welcomed by Khalsa College Principal Dr.Daljit Singh, Dr. Gurupdesh asked the students to inculcate amongst them the spirit of questioning. ``You have to develop discipline to prepare for the exams. The mantra for the success is single-minded devotion to work for the set targets’’, said he adding that the self-belief and then intensive study would help the students to clear the exams through intensive and extensive study techniques.
Dr.Daljit also motivated the students to `something extra’ in studies to achieve something extra in life. He said the hard work and devotion to the studies has no alternative to achieve success. The students also took part in question-answer form and were happy to get significant clues from the expert speaker. Coaching Centre coordinators Dr.JS Gandhi and Dr.SS Manto were present.
