The Department of Physical Education has produced a large number of Olympians and International Players since its establishment.Our student Nakul Malhotra participated in Doha Asian Games 2006 and Olympic qualifying tournament 2007 held at Vietnam.Khalsa College enjoys the coveted distinction of being the Alma Mater of scores of Olympians, World Champions and National Record holders. The college campus has a cricket field, swimming pool, an athletic track, hockey and football grounds, basket ball, lawn tennis and badminton courts. It also houses a well equipped gymnasium and adequate facilities for indoor games.

Much to the envy of all other institutions, Khalsa College has always enjoyed a prestigious status in the sports arena. This year also our students excelled and brought several international and national laurels. Jasdeep Singh won Gold medal in shot put at All India Inter-varsity held at Chennai. Maninder Singh was second in Senior Nationals in Kabaddi N/s. In Boxing Jagroop Singh won Bronze Medal in Senior Nationals held at Hyderabad. He bagged golds in Junior National and Punjab State Championship. He was also declared the Best Boxer at this meet. Navjot Singh won Gold medal in Punjab State Championship in Athletics.

Overall the College won first position in Gatka, Cycling, Boxing, Compound Archery and Baseball and runners up in Taekwondo, Fencing, Kabaddi N/S, Volleyball, Softball and Athletics and third position in Kabaddi P/S, Table Tennis, Handball, Cricket and Wooden Archery in GNDU Inter-College Competitions.

Continuing the old tradition, Khalsa College organized 'Diwali Hockey Tournament' on 15-16 October, 2009. The Under Nineteen teams (boys) of schools from the districts of Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Tarn Taran participated in this tournament. The winning teams were awarded trophies and attractive prizes.
