Students of M.Sc. Zoology  (Semester IV) brought laurels to Khalsa College Amrtisar by bagging top positions in the University Examinations held in May, 2011. Shveta Maheshwari stood first by securing 1380 marks out of 1800.  It is worth mentioning that she stood first in all the four semesters thereby becoming first position holder of M.Sc. Zoology in the University. Manisha Khajuria and Gaganpreet Kaur Bali secured third and fourth positions respectively by securing 72.11% and 71.94% marks. Principal Dr. Daljit Singh congratulated the students and teachers on this occasion and encouraged them. The Head of Department and members of the faculty of Zoology also congratulated the students. The students attributed their success to the academic atmosphere and hard work put in by the teachers under the able guidance of Principal Daljit Singh.
